John Ciulla, CEO/President/Chairman
John is a senior level executive with a 30-year track record of building and leading successful companies. Most recently, at Xerox, John was instrumental in Xerox’s hardware to services transformation, creating, acquiring, and leading several multi-billion dollar lines of business.
Prior to Xerox, John was the CEO at Neogent. John built Neogent into a leading IT Security and Identity Management solutions company. He directed sales and client growth while reconstructing the company for its sale to Sun Microsystems. John has also held leadership roles at Vignette, IBM/Tivoli Systems, Entex, EDS and Perot Systems.
Michael Ames, CFO/COO
Michael has more than 20 years of upper-level financial, operational, and consulting experience in the high-tech industry, Michael has overseen turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital fundraising.
Michael has held the position of COO/CFO at Jetalon Solutions, purchased by Entegris in 2013. Michael was GM/CFO at Neogent, Inc. Prior to this, Michael held key positions at Vignette Corp., Inovawave, and IBM.
Buck Krawczyk, CMO
For more than 25 years, Buck has helped high growth organizations attract and acquire customers through strategic branding, marketing and business development initiatives. His efforts have accelerated revenue growth for organizations while creating multiple acquisition opportunities.
Buck was vice president of marketing at Lombardi Software where he led global marketing operations during the company’s rapid growth in the business process management (BPM) space and subsequent acquisition by IBM. He has held global executive marketing roles at Vignette Corporation and General Magic and was GM for worldwide operations at Hodskins Simone & Searls.
Marty Smith, VP of Technical resources
Marty Smith is a senior level executive with over 30 years working in the technical staffing industry. Marty started his professional career with one of the pioneers of technical staffing, Computer Task Group, managing both the Xerox and Kodak company accounts in Rochester, NY.
The majority of Marty’s career was spent with CIBER Inc, including the role of Eastern Divisional Vice President located in Denver, CO. In that role, he had profit and loss responsibility for 20 business units generating over $200M in revenue. He also created and implemented a new corporate recruiting model which allowed high volume resource hiring resulting in the hiring of over 1,000 technical resources in 2 year period.
MIke poe, Vp of identity innovation
Mike Poe serves as Regatta’s VP of Identity Innovation where he directs the IAM and IAG consulting practices. Mike brings over 20 years of management and technical experience with several of the world’s leading technology and service companies including UnboundID (Ping Identity), Sun Microsystems (Oracle), Waveset (Oracle) and Vignette (OpenText).
Prior to joining Regatta, Mike was a technology consultant focused on security, e-commerce, and professional services operations. Previously he served as the Vice President of Service Delivery at UnboundID (acquired by Ping Identity) and Director of Professional Services at Sun Microsystems (acquired by Oracle).
Kevin cunningham, board member
Kevin has more than 30 years in the software industry, leveraging his expertise, vision and strategic focus to found and drive multiple organizations to success. Most recently, he served as President and Chief Strategy Office of SailPoint Technologies, a company he co-founded SailPoint in December 2005 and took through an IPO in November of 2017.
Prior to SailPoint, he co-founded and served as Vice President of Marketing at Waveset. After Waveset's acquisition by Sun Microsystems, he drove strategic market positioning and set direction for Sun's software portfolio. Kevin serves as a Business Advisor to several local companies and is an Operating Advisor at Elsewhere Partners. He has successfully led innovative technologies to market for companies including UniSQL, Inc. and IBM/Tivoli Systems Inc.
Mike Turner, board member
Mike has more than 20 years of experience in building and growing successful companies. Most recently, Mike was the Founder and CEO of Waveset Technologies, an identity management software company acquired by Sun Microsystems. At Waveset, Mike received the Austin Under 40 Award for technology and business innovation and was a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.
Mike held the position of VP and GM at Tivoli’s $1.2 billion enterprise business unit, which focused on information technology solutions. Mike spearheaded Tivoli’s entry into the enterprise security space resulting in revenue growth of $200 million in two years.
Prior to his role at Waveset, Mike served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Austin Ventures.
Bill Jones, board member
William (Bill) Jones has a passion for driving operational excellence across his organization to ensure the delivery of reliable and highly available infrastructure systems. With over 35 years in Information Technology, Bill has an extensive background in infrastructure operations, engineering and service delivery.
Bill currently serves as Vice President, Data Center Services for Anthem, Inc., located in Atlanta, GA. In this capacity he is responsible for managing delivery of IT infrastructure services across Anthem’s four main data centers, including subsidiary locations throughout the U.S. The infrastructure services includes all server, mainframe, storage, network, disaster recovery, data center strategy and Data Center Facility management.
Prior to joining Anthem, Bill was Vice President of Data Center Services for SITA, the world's leading specialist in air transport communications and information technology. Bill and his team were responsible for ensuring infrastructure availability supporting many international airlines and airports. He drove transformative change across the infrastructure introducing new technology and operating models.
Before joining SITA, Bill held numerous executive positions with Equifax, Interland, IBM and EDS. Bill resides in Atlanta with his wife Lisa and enjoy spending time with their four adult children.
